Opening in late 2022, Wonderground and Mirus Vineyards is both a dedicated art gallery and cellar door with sweeping acres of vineyard and vistas on the western ridge of the Barossa Valley.

Wonderground invites visitors to experience the Barossa with fresh eyes and excited palates.

Discover new Barossa, from contemporary and expressive wines through to curated art exhibitions including local and interstate artists. Quiet, considered, contemplative spaces, spectacular views, rolling lawns, awe-inspiring sculpture, there is space for everyone at Wonderground.

Many of our guests return, not as visitors, but as part of an extended community bound by curiosity, respect and shared experience.

Led by creativity and celebration of place, enjoy a glass of wine or a wine tasting while you immerse yourself in the current exhibition.

Wonder: the feeling of awe and fascination of the beautiful, remarkable, or unfamiliar.

Ground: the country or foundation that supports us.

INTRODUCING

MIRUS (latin; Miraculous, Wonderful)

Our Mirus vineyard in Marananga is Miraculous! It’s diversity of soils, aspects, old vines of traditional Barossa red varieties, inspired us to make a series of single block wines fully expressing these small, rare parcels and their intriguing personalities.
