The colours, the light, the stillness, the uncompromising moments between day and night, when the Barossa is bathed in golden light just before nightfall, that's where the Witching Hour resides. It's through the intrigue and inspiration of these captivating moments that our artists explore and unveil through their practice the magic of the Witching Hour.
Exhibiting the inaugural Barossa Women’s Artist in Resident, Belinda Wilson, as she responds to her time spent in the region, along with Adelaide icon Jim Thalassoudis.
Highly anticipated, Tanya Wales will be back in the gallery.
We also welcome international artists now living here in South Australia, Shahzia Shehzad, Pakistani born, accomplished paper sculptor and installation artists, who has recently moved from Qatar. From Berlin, Juliane Brandt, will be exhibiting a selection of her sculptural work, combining wood and clay, Juliane explores how the characteristics of these elements change when subjected to heat and fire.
Local artists Nina Rupena, Kirsty Kingsley and Renee de Saxe will join this exciting line up of artists.
