  • Emma Fuss

    Emma Fuss

    Emma Fuss is an Australian artist who works predominantly in oil to create striking still lifes and portraiture.

    From her studio set in native bushland on South Australia's wild, remote Eyre Peninsular, Emma draws on her love of Australian botanicals and her flower garden.

    Emma has been recognized in a number of local art awards and has an established and loyal following, both within South Australia and beyond. We are delighted that Emma is back for this years Small Wonders exhibition at Wonderground.

  • LYNKA

    Lynka is an emerging Australia-Polish figurative abstract artist based in the Barossa. Lynka's creative practise is largely focussed on Her - mind, body and identity.

    We are delighted to have as series of small works created by LYNKA for the upcoming Small Wonders exhibition at Wonderground Barossa.

  • Sally Etherton

    Sally is an emerging artist inspired by the evocative and sensual lines of the land. She feels a deep connection and sense of place in the Barossa.

    Sally captures these feeling through focussing her energy and emotion into each brushtroke, believing that energy she puts into an artwork will then connect with the audience.

  • Emma Young

    Adelaide glass blower and designer Emma Young uses vivid colours in forms that serve both function and aesthetic, showing pride and affection for unique Australian experiences. Emma completed a Bachelor in Visual Arts specialising in Glass at the University of South Australia, mentored by Gabriella Bisetto among many other local artists, and was offered an integral learning opportunity in 2015 with a scholarship to the renowned Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, USA.

    We are delighted to have Emma Young exhibit with Wonderground Barossa for Small Wonders 2024.

  • Alice Tilly

    Alice Tilley is a still life and landscape oil painter that embraces and documents the quiet, or simple and ordinary moments of day-to-day domestic and rural life. Alice works from her studio on a cropping and sheep farm north of South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

    Alice Tilley's small works are a quiet reflection of the essence and beauty of a moment or place. Alice works from her studio in the north of South Australia's Barossa Valley.

  • Renee de Saxe

    Renee’s works have been described as emotive. Renee’s daughters are her muse and create a common thread throughout her work, however, the often solitary figure is not a replication of her daughters but a vehicle which communicates numerous concepts including inner child, contemplation, society, belonging, isolation and stillness.

    Commencing each painting, Renee doesn’t have a specific agenda but rather finds they develop and mould to feelings and emotions surrounding her at the time. Each artwork urges the viewer to recognise, acknowledge and feel their own emotions in viewing her work.

  • Lisa Losada

    Lisa Losada's work engages with the emotional responses we have to physical places, the slippage between observation and experience, and how we can become embedded in landscape through familiarity, observation and care.

    Lisa's small works involves a series of slow, detailed works of roadsides and gardens, the liminal space between private and public, and an an exploration of the gardenas a trope of domesticity and nuture.

  • Lise Temple

    Lise Temple has been painting South Australian landscapes for almost 20 years. Her paintings explore the experience of viewing place from changing viewpoints, through the passage of time, moving through degrees of abstraction. Her works for this show are lyrical abstract landscapes, developed through a collage process. Bold colour, generous application of impasto paint and lively brushwork feature throughout.

    Lise studied Fine Art, Science and Landscape Design at RMIT and UNE. She moved to rural South Australia in 2003 to consolidate her art practice. She is a frequent finalist in national art prizes including Hadleys Art Prize, Muswellbrook Art Prize, Fleurieu Peninsula Biennale and Whyalla Art Prizes. Lise has held numerous solo exhibitions and is represented by several interstate galleries.

  • Roland Weight at Wonderground Barossa Gallery

    Roland Weight

    Roland's Weight is a local acclaimed artist with a diverse art practise. His small streetscapes show the effects of light and are done in a single session.

    We are delighted to have Roland exhibit at Wonderground Barossa for Small Wonders.

  • Kirsty Mackirdy

    Kirsty Mackirdy is a Barossa based Silversmith, Jewellery designer and Artist. Recently Kirsty has reignited her passion for drawing and painting, learning the intricacies of oil painting and enjoying the freedom of expression through a different medium.

    Kirsty also teaches Yoga at Wonderground Barossa.

  • Nona Burden

    Nona Burden's works while in the genre of still life, emanate a life force of their own. Almost hypnotic, colours and light draw you into these works, with their ethereal qualities.
